Today we lost a great friend, piano player and band leader,  JOE CAVALLARO.  Joe came from Elmira NY and entertained many of us who attended Alexandria Bay Jazz Festival and who also help run the Twin Tiers Jazz Festival in Elmira NY.  He had a wonderful personality, a lot of thoughtfulness and kindness that we will never forget.  RIP JOE  LOVE  DINNY & DO

He treated us Canadians as if we were gold when we came to Elmira.  His hospitality was beyond anything you could imagine.  His band members were also wonderful to all of us.

For some unknown reason, he took a special shine to my Dinny.  Why I don’t know!!!!!!!  They joked around all the time and Joe would call Dinny and say ( I just had to call you, you’re driving me crazy if I don’t.)  He called just  a few weeks ago to say that the band had their passports and would be able to come to Kitchener to play for us.  Wayne and Nancy and all of us were so excited that this would happen in the new year.  Unfortunately, the Lord had other plans for Joe, which we are not too happy about.

His spirit and smile will live on in our hearts and remember the good times.  Our sympathy goes out to his dear friend Karen and his devoted band members.

Sincerely
Dinny & Do

We are excited to announce a new location for Dinny And The Allstars to play at.  This will be every second Sunday starting November 22nd from 6 pm to 9 pm.

The management is very happy to have us join their lineup of entertainment.  Their Fridays and Saturdays are booked but he is quite willing to have us play Sundays.  We can play every Sunday if we choose but have opted for every second Sunday.  The time was chosen because of their regular clients that come in every Sunday until 5.30pm for football and drinks. The Queen Victoria has a great website so be sure to visit it and see their menu, the layout and their nice décor.  It is quite a comfortable feeling.

This pub restaurant is large very much the same layout as 744 but larger and very English pub décor.  The staff and proprietor are all very friendly.  The food is excellent and it is an open menu.  Their beers are more reasonable that most places too. No set planned dinners that restrict you.
